Andersen Caledonia has two large ethylene oxide chambers capable of sterilising up to 21 pallets twice a day and a smaller pallet chamber suitable for surface sterilisation. Andersen Caledonia specialises in running mixed load cycles which allows us to be highly flexible in processing volumes. We do not require pre-booking of loads or customers to buy more volume than required to process their goods. Turnaround times are typically between 3 and 7 days. We accept loads in boxes, pallets and shipping containers and sterilise both new devices and reprocessed devices. Andersen Caledonia has specific expertise in handling expensive instruments such as flexible endoscopes which require care and attention and working with customers with small loads.

Biological Release

All our loads are released on a combination of parametric and biological release criteria. We use FDA approved 48 hour biological controls. For customers who wish rapid return of devices we offer to ship the product immediately after aeration under quarantine for a small additional charge..

EONoVac (Extra Gentle Sterilisation of Small Volumes)

We possess a small cartridge based ethylene oxide steriliser that operates without deep vacuums and at a wide range of temperatures from 30-55°C and gas dwell times from 30 minutes to 24 hours. This machine is especially good for processing electronic equipment or certain wound dressings which are very sensitive to heat and humidity. The sterilizer is also used to sterilise bone flaps.
