Potable Water Testing - UKAS Accredited

Andersen Caledonia processes potable water samples at both its laboratories in Bellshill, Lanarkshire and Keele, Staffordshire and are UKAS accredited to perform Total Viable count, Coliforms, Ecoli, Pseudomonas(*) aeruginosa and Legionella.

Our typical customers for potable water testing include Environmental water service companies and public service providers.

Potable water testing is important to ensure a water supply is fit for human consumption. Legislations are in place to ensure that the water used for drinking is monitored to limit the risk to the public by either elimination of bacteria or effectively control the natural level present in the water supply.

Other test including Enterococcus (Faecal Streptococci), Clostridium perfringens, Cryptosporidium can also be carried out at both Laboratories
