Microbial Testing For Hospitals
Andersen Caledonia provides a wide range of testing services to support hospitals sterilisation and infection control programs. Our staff based at Glasgow, Scotland and Keele, England provide a full coverage of the country and we have signed a number of national contracts as well as many contracts with NHS Trusts. The tests performed include
- Cleanroom monitoring using settle plates, swabs, air samplers and particle counters. Areas monitored include sterile packing, isolation cabinets for drug preparation and operating theatres.
- Product Bioburden testing to verify the level of contamination post cleaning and before sterilisation.
- Water Testing for chemical, endotoxins and microbial quality including legionella**
- Training programs for cleanroom staff
